Every initiated, undergraduate KA brother attends his Active Chapter’s meetings during college. Each semester, chapter meetings may very well be the one time each week where all the brothers are together in one place—discussing KA, their chapter’s affairs, and enjoying fellowship. After the business is concluded, a near final agenda point remains—“Voluntary Remarks.” The floor opens for members to celebrate an achievement, reminisce about their term, or share a good story. Chapter meetings are memorable as a common thread of experience for all KAs, as are the hearty times spent during “Voluntary Remarks.”

The 2023 vintage will be remembered for its cool conditions throughout the summer and into harvest, shaping a beautifully expressive Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Layered aromas of blackberry, baking spices, cranberry, cardamom, anise and floral rose burst forth on the nose, while zingy cherry juice, cola nut, black tea, pomegranate, and hints of lemon zest unfold on the palate of this lush round Pinot that is braced by bright acidity.
