Wine Information:

Special Collections:

McFarlin Library, the heart of The University of Tulsa campus, houses a rich array of nearly 1,000 collections of over 12 million archives and over 160,00 rare books, collectively known as Special Collections. The earliest collection began with a gift from Alice Mary Robertson in the late 1920s of Native American artifacts, and now includes one of the largest collections of James Joyce.

Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County experiences a lengthy and cool growing season that is similar to the climate of the Burgundy region of east-central France. Unlike Burgundy, our Pinot Noir experiences dense fog that rolls in off the Pacific Ocean; this fog contributes to the ideal climate for Pinot Noir, offering just enough moisture to be beneficial without lingering too long.

We introduce you to Special Collections. This Pinot Noir has aromas of cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and brown sugar with notes of baking spices. On the palate, the wine opens with bright, fruit flavors of strawberries, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins on a long, elegant finish.

8th Street Storm:

Every year, the Golden Hurricane eagerly anticipate the excitement of the 8th Street Storm! As our cherished teams battle it out in the iconic Donald W. Reynolds Center and H.A. Chapman Stadium, the legendary Glenn Dobbs Drive comes alive. This historic road is the heart of tailgates, pregame meetups, and countless memories. So, let's raise a glass and toast to the future storms of 8th Street, where tradition and passion unite!

We introduce you to 8th Street Storm. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Chardonnay.

Tulsa Time:

When you’re living on Tulsa Time it is easy to relax and enjoy a city steeped in a rich history of music and the arts. The words of Woody Guthrie, Leon Russell, and Bob Dylan define a unique sound. Landmarks such as the famous Cain’s Ballroom evoke the nostalgia of times gone by. So, “set your watch back to it” and enjoy Living on Tulsa Time. Cheers TU!

We introduce you to Tulsa Time. This proprietary red blend – from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth – exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry, and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long-lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar.

Old Gold:

Pop the cork of Old Gold and find yourself transported back to campus in front of the Kendall Bell. The oldest and most storied tradition at TU, ringing the bell symbolizes a graduate’s journey from student to alumnus and a future full of promise. Old Gold celebrates great memories. Cheers TU!

We introduce you to Old Gold. This premium sparkling wine – meticulously and artfully made in the traditional champagne method – rivals anything found from the best Champagne houses in Épernay and Reims. Blended superbly from 100% Chardonnay, this magnificent Napa Valley Blanc de Blancs exhibits beautiful green apple and tropical notes in the aroma follows through in the mouth with a smooth fine mousse. This wine finishes with refreshing, lingering light tropical flavors that beg for another sip.

Tulsa Sound:

The legendary “Tulsa Sound” is a signature style of country, blues, rock, and soul blended together to create a shuffle groove. Founded by Leon Russell and JJ Cale it was further brought to life in the historic Church Studio in the 1970s. The unique melodies and lyrics of the genre inspired a camaraderie that continues to inspire and bring together a new generation of musicians and TU fans.

We introduce you to Tulsa Sound. Our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellation’s preeminent varietal. Notes of black cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.

Tulsa Golden:

On a beautiful campus, there lives a golden retriever named Goldie – the Canine Ambassador of The University of Tulsa. Goldie has an impeccable nose for quality. With her velvety ears perked and tail swaying, she welcomes students with a nuzzle and a knowing look as if to say, “You’ve got this.” Cheers to Goldie, to Oklahoma sunsets, and to the simple joy of sharing wine with friends.

We introduce you to Tulsa Golden, our 2021 Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon. The watermelon and strawberry notes burst out of the glass. When served cool on a warm day, the juicy acidity of the 2021 Rosé makes for a very refreshing and versatile wine, perfect to share on any occasion. Look for the hidden imagery in the rose petals.
