The SAE flag is synonymous with the Fraternity. With its iconic colors and indistinguishable lettering, ours cannot be mistaken for any other. One look at the purple and gold banner is easily identifiable—and even more inviting. If a flag is waving, SAEs are welcomed beneath it. Designed by H.H. Cowan (Adrian 1890), the flag was officially adopted in 1892 during the 36th Anniversary Convention in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and has remained unchanged since.

On the palate, the wine opens with bright, fruit flavors of strawberries, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins on a long, elegant finish.
