Wine Information:

Tulsa Time:

When you’re living on Tulsa Time it is easy to relax and enjoy a city steeped in a rich history of music and the arts. The words of Woody Guthrie, Leon Russell, and Bob Dylan define a unique sound. Landmarks such as the famous Cain’s Ballroom evoke the nostalgia of times gone by. So, “set your watch back to it” and enjoy Living on Tulsa Time. Cheers TU!

We introduce you to “Tulsa Time”. This proprietary red blend – from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth – exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry, and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long-lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar.

Special Collections:

McFarlin Library, the heart of The University of Tulsa campus, houses a rich array of nearly 1,000 collections of over 12 million archives and over 160,00 rare books, collectively known as Special Collections. The earliest collection began with a gift from Alice Mary Robertson in the late 1920s of Native American artifacts, and now includes one of the largest collections of James Joyce.

Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County experiences a lengthy and cool growing season that is similar to the climate of the Burgundy region of east-central France. Unlike Burgundy, our Pinot Noir experiences dense fog that rolls in off the Pacific Ocean; this fog contributes to the ideal climate for Pinot Noir, offering just enough moisture to be beneficial without lingering too long.

We introduce you to Special Collections. This Pinot Noir has aromas of cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and brown sugar with notes of baking spices. On the palate, the wine opens with bright, fruit flavors of strawberries, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins on a long, elegant finish.

Category 5:

Feel the winds come sweeping down the plains as you enjoy a Category 5 vintage that is sure to be memorable. Nothing goes better with a Golden Hurricane than friends, fans, and a good time. So, raise your hurricane flag, as we celebrate 100 years of one of the most unique nicknames in the country. This is a storm you won’t want to miss. Cheers TU!

We introduce you to “Category 5”. Hailing from the cool and foggy climate for the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, this beautiful medium bodied wine was grown slowly to build intense flavors over time. This wine was aged in French oak and displays a beautiful balance of fruit, oak and liveliness on the palate and exhibits lush mango and toasted almond. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Russian River Chardonnay.

Old Gold:

Pop the cork of Old Gold and find yourself transported back to campus in front of the Kendall Bell. The oldest and most storied tradition at TU, ringing the bell symbolizes a graduate’s journey from student to alumnus and a future full of promise. Old Gold celebrates great memories. Cheers TU!

We introduce you to “Old Gold”. This premium sparkling wine – meticulously and artfully made in the traditional champagne method – rivals anything found from the best Champagne houses in Épernay and Reims. Blended superbly from 100% Chardonnay, this magnificent Napa Valley Blanc de Blancs exhibits beautiful green apple and tropical notes in the aroma follows through in the mouth with a smooth fine mousse. This wine finishes with refreshing, lingering light tropical flavors that beg for another sip.
