The Emerald:

As stated in its first issue published in 1911, The Emerald “is the magazine of the Fraternity, the property, the product of the Fraternity, and devoted to the interest of every and all of its members.” PGS Louis L. Moore (Temple 1909) served as the first editor-in-chief of the magazine. More than 380 issues of The Emerald have been produced since the magazine’s inception.

We introduce you to The Emerald. This flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellation’s preeminent varietal. Notes of black cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.

The Badge - Golden Cross:

Each and every initiated member of the Fraternity proudly wears the Greek cross badge over their heart. The badge represents the fundamental insignia of a brother’s connection to the Fraternity, and the symbols on the badge represent specific aspects of our initiatory rite. Pythagoras taught that feeling is centered in the heart, so the deepest connection to the Fraternity is therefore placed over it.

We introduce you to The Badge – Golden Cross. This premium sparkling wine – meticulously and artfully made in the traditional champagne method – rivals anything found from the best Champagne houses in Épernay and Reims. Blended superbly from 100% Pinot Noir, this magnificent Napa Valley Blanc de Noirs exhibits brioche and a hint of berry, with bright citrus in the aromas. The fine mousse brings along these notes in the mouth. Lingering finish of citrus that begs for another sip.

Lavender Orchid:

In a 1908 letter to Byron R. Lewis (Vincennes 1902), Robert George Patterson wrote that “The flowers are either the lavender orchid or the white rose and lilac,” and the flower was officially recognized in the 1912 Constitution. The bold and unique complexion of the flower symbolizes dignity and strength, which authentically represent the brotherhood formed within Sigma Pi.

We introduce you to Lavender Orchid. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Chardonnay.
