As sure as the lambent fire of inquisitiveness glows in Mensans, the bright, berry aromas and radiant flavor pairings of our 2020 Pinot Noir will light up your senses. With the proper complement of cherry, raspberry, and blackberry aromas, cleverly intertwined with unmistakable notes of brown sugar and baking spices, this Pinot Noir exhibits show-stopping fragrance. On the palate, the wine opens with the fresh, alluring presence of strawberry, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins for an elegant finish. We introduce you to Lambent. Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County experiences a lengthy and cool growing season that is similar to the climate of the Burgundy region of east-central France. Unlike Burgundy, our Pinot Noir experiences dense fog that rolls in off the Pacific Ocean; this fog contributes to the ideal climate for Pinot Noir, offering just enough moisture to be beneficial without lingering too long.
