Setting Sun - 2019 Chardonnay - Napa Valley

The symbolism of the Setting Sun between the Headlands holds special significance for AKL and occupies a prominent place on our crest. The 11 rays represent our 11 Founding Fathers, while the Headlands remind of our beginnings on the West Coast at Berkeley and symbolize a fraternity that now spans coast to coast. The image of the setting sun also reflects a moment of transition—the end of one phase of Fraternity, the Los Amigos Club, and the birth of our new Fraternity.
