Toward the end of his life, founder William Alexander likened Pi Kappa Alpha to the oak and drew the image depicted on this label, with roots grown from the acorn of 1868 and branches covering more than fifteen decades. A fair comparison: the oak holds the earth together against winds, waters, and storms on the southern coast of our country; in the East, it covers acre after acre; in the West, it dominates the landscape. The strength of the oak has come to represent the hearts of true men.
We introduce you to The Oak. The second release of βThe Oakβ Chardonnay is a real gem. Hailing from the cool and foggy climate for the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, this beautiful medium-bodied wine was grown slowly to build intense flavors over time. This wine was aged in French oak and displays a beautiful balance of fruit, oak and liveliness on the palate and exhibits lush mango and toasted almond. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Russian River Chardonnay.
