Fogarty:

This red wine is named for one of the founders, Simon Fogarty. This is the first of three wines that will highlight the founding fathers. Red wine is seen all over the world as a drink of appreciation. Share this bottle with your Pi Kappa Phi brothers as you appreciate the bond of brotherhood that began so many years ago with our founders’ bond and has grown to over 145,000 men.

We introduce you to Fogarty. This proprietary red blend – from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth – exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar.

The Gifts: Memorial Gate:

The Gifts wine series highlights anniversary gifts to the College of Charleston from Pi Kappa Phi. The Pi Kappa Phi memorial gate, a silver anniversary gift to the College of Charleston, reaffirms our commitment to the College and the city of Charleston. The beautiful gate can be found on the west side of the Cistern at the College of Charleston with intricate wrought iron decoration. Just as our tower reaffirms our presence in Charleston, reaffirm our commitment to Pi Kappa Phi with this chardonnay.

We introduce you to The Gifts: Memorial Gate. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Chardonnay.
