137 years ago, the Thirteenth Convention of the Order was held in Nashville, Tennessee, and selected Crimson and Old Gold as our official colors. They represent the blood (Crimson) and treasure (Old Gold) spent by our forefathers in defense of our country. In 2021, the first Old Gold Chardonnay from Napa Valley, was released embodying the essence of treasure. Proving that a KA can never have too much “Old Gold” in his stores, we bring you a Russian River Valley companion varietal. May we present a toast of the Old Gold—to our forefathers and their defense of life and liberty, and to today’s promotion of our fraternity.

We introduce you to Old Gold. This Chardonnay is a real gem. Hailing from the cool and foggy climate for the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, this beautiful medium-bodied wine was grown slowly to build intense flavors over time. This wine was aged in French oak and displays a beautiful balance of fruit, oak and liveliness on the palate and exhibits lush mango and toasted almond. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Russian River Chardonnay.
