We introduce you to The Duke. A limited-production, The Duke Cab's tremendous full-body structure and balance are the essence of Mount Veeder, known as the source of some of Napa Valley's most extraordinary mountain-grown wines. Concentrated fruit flavors and integrated tannins introduce a balance of complex, sophisticated aromatics and fruit intensity. Notes of cassis, lingonberry, black cherry, and crushed cocoa come to the forefront, with hints of violets, thyme, black tea, and kirsch all layer on a bed of velvety tannin.

The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi: 

There have been two movies titled The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. The first, made in 1932, starred Significant Sigs Buster Crabbe USC 1931 and Burr McIntosh LAFAYETTE 1884, with other Sigma Chi members in supporting roles. The song is performed several times by Ted Fiorito, a band leader of the 1930s.

The second release in 1946 featured Marjorie Ann Hoerner, the Sweetheart of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter at Nebraska. The song was sung in the film by Phil Brito and played in the background while another song from the film, "Five Minutes More," became a number one hit for Frank Sinatra.

We introduce you to The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Chardonnay.
