The shield has adorned Delta Gamma’s longest-standing icon since the anchor badge was first designed in 1877. The shield that is a part of the anchor stands for protection, one for another. By itself, the shield is a symbol of friendship and loyalty to Delta Gamma. When you add the shield to the crossbar the anchor is no longer ordinary; the two parts become one singular Delta Gamma image that stands for hope – a hope that has spanned generations of members.

We introduce you to Shield. Our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellation’s preeminent varietal. Notes of of black cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.
