“Described as a year of “fierce activity on the part of Delta Gammas everywhere,” 1923 marked the golden jubilee of the Do Good Sisterhood. The official celebration took place at the 1924 Convention held in Estes Park, Colorado. It was an event of mammoth proportion with more than 600 Delta Gammas registered to attend.
By the end of 1923, 49 Delta Gamma chapters had been opened since its founding, 35 of which were still active. There were around 8,000 living members, and Delta Gamma had become an international organization a decade earlier with the installation of Alpha Gamma chapter at the University of Toronto. The first fifty years of Delta Gamma set the stage for the organization to thrive as it does today.
We introduce you to Remembrance 50 Years. Our proprietary red blend always exhibits the craft of blending, where all the parts complement the round character of the final wine. Deep dark saturated color, with spicy plum and black cherry, tobacco, cinnamon, and floral and camphor hints on the nose while on the palate it is voluptuous, dark fruited, juicy, round and long lasting with currant, dark chocolate, roasted beets and a persistent finish in this full-bodied wine.
