When Delta Gamma was founded in 1873, two colors, pink and blue, were chosen as the official colors. The reason these two colors were chosen has been lost to history. During the Victorian era (1837 – 1901), pink had no gender association. The color would not become strongly associated with femininity until the mid-20^th Century. While pink is often correlated with affection and compassion today, it also has a specific meaning to Delta Gamma that is only to be shared with initiated members. 

Dressed fashionably with a high neckline, long sleeves, narrow waistline and a wide-brimmed hat, this image beautifully showcases our Delta Gamma pink. This watercolor artwork was given to attendees as their place cards for the 1901 Convention held in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We introduce you to Timeless Dee Gee. Beautiful dark color from a concentrated vintage, this wine leads out with brooding dark fruit aromas of black cherry, blackberries and baking spices with some underlying clay earth and toasty oak. The palate dances with bright fruits that turn darker with time in this full-bodied wine, which is juicy and approachable now, but will also reveal other nuances with age, especially coming from a deep and heralded vintage.
