The charter art featured on this label was originally hand-drawn and is included on the charter document presented to each chapter at the time of its installation, representing the founding of that chapter. It features both of Alpha Phi’s flowers, the forget-me-not and the lily of the valley, as well as the lazy Phi, our founding year of 1872, the ivy and our public motto — “union hand in hand.”
