1851 Our Founding - 2023 Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley

Our founding year, 1851, marked the beginning of a bold new chapter for women. On the campus of Wesleyan Female College, six trailblazers established the first secret society for collegiate women, planting the roots of what would become Alpha Delta Pi. What began as a quiet act of courage is now a global movement defined by sisterhood, service, character, and knowledge. We honor the year our sisterhood started, and the legacy that continues to thrive.

We introduce you to 1851- Our Founding. The 2023 vintage will be remembered for its cool conditions throughout the summer and into harvest, shaping a beautifully expressive Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Layered aromas of blackberry, baking spices, cranberry, cardamom, anise and floral rose burst forth on the nose, while zingy cherry juice, cola nut, black tea, pomegranate, and hints of lemon zest unfold on the palate of this lush round Pinot that is braced by bright acidity.
